President- Kris Tong

Since her graduation in 2003, Kris has dedicated herself to the field of occupational therapy, with a particular focus on hand and upper limb rehabilitation beginning in 2007. Her tenure at National University Hospital has provided Kris with extensive exposure to a wide spectrum of hand conditions. She has developed expertise in managing complex hand and upper extremity injuries, as well as non-traumatic conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger. Kris has cultivated a special interest and proficiency in managing thoracic outlet syndrome and complex traumatic injuries.
Vice-president- Vincent Leow

Vincent obtained his Bachelor Degree in Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) in 2010 from the University of Sydney and practised in main restructured hospitals like TTSH and NUH, where he developed a strong inclination towards Hand therapy and Upper Limb Rehabilitation. In 2023, he founded CARe - Centre for Advanced Rehabilitation, where he put together a team of healthcare professionals to provide a one-stop holistic care for his patients. With more than 10 years of practice in this specialised field, Vincent has a wealth of experience managing a wide variety of upper limb conditions.
Secretary- Sook Ming

Sook Ming has been practicing in Hand and Upper Limb Rehabilitation for more than 10 years. With her additional qualifications as a Certified Hand Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Sook Ming is well versed in various upper limb rehabilitation techniques.
Treasurer- Christine Goh

Christine has specialized in hand therapy since 2009, with experience across various practice settings, including acute care, acute rehabilitation, and outpatient clinics in both the private and public sectors. She enjoys exploring innovative methods and approaches in hand therapy, such as utilizing 3D technology for splinting.

Joshua Yong

Joshua Yong has specialised in hand therapy since 2015, working across practice areas such as neurological and acute care. His focus areas includes facilitating return to work as well as the measurement of dexterity
Meliza Tan

Meliza has been specializing in the area of upper limb hand rehabilitation since 2009. During her tenture at Changi General Hospital, she was actively involved in the work process and care of patients with a wide range of hand and upper limb conditions. She helped developed the lymphedema service and developed an interest in the area of breast cancer related lymphedema disorders.
Carolene

Carolene specialises in treating various upper limb conditions. She commits to deliver evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. This is also complemented by her innovative work with 3D-printed prosthesis and orthotics, and her additional qualifications in GEMt Upper Limb Dry Needling and Manipulation and Mobilisation in the Upper Limb.
Education and Research
Zhiqing Chen

Zhiqing has been practising as an occupational therapist since 2013. She has worked in multiple care settings including inpatient neurology and orthopaedic rehabilitation, subacute rehabilitation, and outpatient hand rehabilitation. She is currently working in a private hand clinic.
Special interest: TFCC wrist rehabilitation, post-surgery hand rehabilitation
Wan Ting

Wan Ting has been specializing in hand therapy since 2021, building on her broad experience as an occupational therapist since 2008. She has worked in various areas, including neurology, geriatrics and orthopedics.
